Changing link in header using free theme

  I have a free theme and cannot figure out how to change the link in my header from my blog to my main site link. I do not see any where that I may change html code for the header. Is this possible to do with a free theme ?

  You cannot change it and use it redirect to an external site. We cannot access and edit the php that generates the HTML underlying our blogs here on this multiuser blogging platform. For clarity read > http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  Actually you can make the header image link elsewhere, but this would be annoying and deceptive: the header image is supposed to be a home link, not an external link. What you can do is create a custom menu to add that link next to “Home” – see here:
