changing logo in header- site identity

watched a youtube video and looked simple but I’m having a problem with it. uploaded an icon into the media library. click on ‘change logo’ and it puts two of the same icon next to my site identity name. when I remove it and replace it with the stock icon from the astra theme starter kit it works correctly. Any help is greatly appreciated. I am brand new to wordpress. using elementor and not wanting to get into the code. Hope I have explained it well enough for someone to understand. :-)

I’m afraid that, your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Siteground.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
