Changing mapped domains

Changed domain names, mapped the new one, want to remove the old one. Already changed the primary. Why is “remove” not listed as an option?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Hi there,

I can help you with removing the mapping subscription. To confirm, which of the two are you wanting to remove? sbarettlong.com?

    Thanks,

Yes, please remove that one. Thanks.

  • Hi Scott,

I have successfully removed the mapping to sbarettlong.com

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.

    Hi there,

I think I’m having the same issue. I wanted to redirect lilihayward.wordpress.com to lilihayward.com but accidentally mapped lilihayward.com to the wordpress address! So, I want to delete the mapping of the .com address.

Will it be ok if I leave it as is? Or would it be possible for you to delete the mapping? Thanks.

  • Hi lauramadeleine,

I’ve canceled the domain mapping to lilihayward.wordpress.com and issued a refund. You should see that refund on your statement within a few days.

Let me know if there’s anything else I can do for you. I’m happy to help.

Is there a link to a step by step way on how to fix this issue?
Because I am having the same problem.

Hi stat, I am having similar issues – I want to change the domain mapping of escapethegroove.com from patongaforeshore.wordpress.com (where is points now) to escapethegroove.wordpress.com

(both of the wordpress sites and the domains are mine).

  • Hi @revapro, I see that you already resolved your issue via live chat.

Hi @patonga4shore, I have successfully moved the domain mapping for escapethegroove.com to escapethegroove.wordpress.com.

If you have any other questions, just let me know and I’ll be happy to help.
