Changing margin for all or one by css customization or in line text edit?

    Hello,

I’m trying to get rid of the space between my Heading Title for the Page My first input of text. I used firebug to find why there was a gap. There is a margin of +40 on the first input of text which is a size of <h3>. (Page Title is “Our Team”, First text input “Ashad Sentango”

    Our webpage is gapsuganda.com

The page i’m talking about is under the “About” tab under”Our Team” (will use the solution for other pages as well!)

By monkeying around with firebug I reduced the bottom margin of the Page header title but since this is wordpress.com I can not change the css file of the theme.

I tried playing around with the first input of text on firebug and Custom Design CSS but I don’t think i’m quite getting the syntax for it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I just realized my grammar is horrible in the question body and title. I appologize

Title is suppose to read “Changing the margin for all or one line of text that has <h3> properties by css customization or in line text edit?

I’ve been staring at a computer screen for far to long on trying to figure out how to close a 3 line gap.

Hi there, normally this would not happen, but with the h3 being the first line of the page content, it adds to the top margin set on the post content resulting in a overly large whitespace between the title of the page and the content. I would suggest taking out the span you have in the h3 and turning it into the following:

    <h3 style="text-decoration: underline; margin-top: 0;">Ashad Sentongo, Co-founder</h3>

See how that looks to you and we can go from there.

Wow, thank you. That worked perfectly.

I was trying a different syntax for margin-top and I think I had it in the wrong place as well. Every example I find is different!

    Thank you again.
