Changing menu colors in Coraline

    Hello all,

    I am a CSS beginner trying to figure out if I should purchase the CSS upgrade.

    At the moment, I am using the Coraline theme and would like to change the on-hover color of the top menu from black to something else. Would this be possible with the CSS upgrade? I have poked around for a while trying to figure out how to do it, but with no success.

    Any help would be much appreciated!

    Yes it is possible. It requires changing the color in two places.

    #access li:hover > a, #access ul ul:hover > a {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FF0000;
    }

    #access ul ul a:hover {
    background: none repeat scroll 0 0 #FF0000;
    }

    If you want the dropdowns to be a color other than black (when you are not hovering) then there would be one more place you would have to change the color.

    You can put the above into the CSS edit box (after clearing out all the informational text) and then click the preview button. You might have to force refresh the preview page as it has been flakey lately.

    Thank you so much! You have not only answered my question but pointed me in the right direction for future experimenting.
