CHANGING MENU NAMES
-
at the top of my main page I have many page choices. I now want to rename what shows on the banner and consolidate past pages by moving them to the renamed pages. I do not know if I am even using the right terminology. If you go to my page I am talking about those topics listed at the top. If I could find a book on editing word press It sure would make all this easier.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there! I think you might be looking for the menu editor. In your left-hand dashboard navigation, go to appearance>menus and you’ll see and interface that let’s you customize how your navigation shows up. There’s some great documentation (even a video!) on how to use it here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

Thanks
I have already been there but I will give it another try.
Perhaps what I want to do can’t be done. I want to use pages in the same way I use posts. Only with pages I can have file folder names and then my blogs can be added like they are on posts.
Except I will most likely have to do it manual, but it will cleanup my blog and make it easier for folks to navigate to a topic of their choice.
again, Thank you for your help and quick reply
