Changing “More Text –>” Option
-
When I write a post and only want part of it to appear on the main page, I add the code that says “More”. It shows up in the post as a little arrow/link. I don’t know if my readers will know to click that to read the rest of the post. I also don’t want to say in the post, “Click the little arrow to the right of this sentence to read more!” I would rather have the arrow say that. How can I change (or can I even change) what the link says?

We’re all asleep. There should be a reference to this somewhere. It has come up before – under something like as in http://wordpress.com/blog/2006/08/02/but-wait-theres-more/ as an option.

We’re still asleep.
In the link provided above, there are links to blogs where at least one of the things that you want to do has been done. If you dont know html, then go to a few such blogs, and ‘view page source’ from the right click browser menu, and you will see how it’s done.
