Changing MX Records for Google Apps
-
Hi everyone!
I purchased the domain name for our website, adcdcarea.org, on GoDaddy, as well as an email plan. From WordPress, I purchased domain mapping. I followed the instructions to activate the Google Apps for the email accounts. According to the Google Apps instructions, the last step is to change the MX records. Since the domain mapping is hosted with WordPress, I need to change them within WordPress and not GoDaddy (according to GoDaddy’s support folks). However, When I go to Settings > Domains, there isn’t an option for me to view/change DNS records at all.
Will the MX records automatically update between Google Apps and WordPress, or is there some other way to access them that I haven’t seen yet?
Thanks!

Ok I’m posting the solution because I know I spent a couple of days on this! When you use Google Apps, the MX records automatically update for you. You don’t have to change them, just give it a couple of hours to propagate. You can check the MX records on WHOIS or a similar site, and it’ll show google servers.
