Changing MX records for Zoho mail

  • Unknown's avatar

I’m trying to set up email using Zoho. I’ve verified my domain name with the following DNS record:

    MX 10 mx.zohomail.com.
    MX 20 mx2.zohomail.com.
    CNAME zb******** domain.zoho.com.

    …which worked, according to Zoho.
I’ve added users, created mail accounts and now have to modify the MX records…which I’ve no idea how to do.

I figure it’s got something to do with this:
The MX Records of Zoho are:
    Host Name Address Priority
    @ mx.zohomail.com 10
    @ mx2.zohomail.com 20

…but I don’t know what the actual exact steps are. Please help.

    Hi there,

I checked your MX Records in the Custom DNS for your domain (located under Store > Domains in your dashboard), and everything looks good on this end. The format for entering your MX Records here at WordPress.com may look a little different from the format Zoho gives you, but the records are the same.

If you recently entered these records, it can take some time (usually a few hours, but in some cases up to 48 hours) for your email to begin working. If you have any questions about this, please let me know!

    Hi RachelMCR,

I literally can not believe that this was easier to do than I thought it was. That might even be the first time that has happened to me!

Thanks for checking up on me.
