  You create a new page for your posts to display on. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/#create-a-new-page Example: “Blog” and then you designate the About page as your static front page here > Settings > Reading and the “Blog” page to display your posts. http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/front-page/
