Changing my blog address

Hello, I didn’t realize you could change your blog address on wordpress so I ended up creating a new blog under the name colorfulinspirations.wordpress.com. However, since I wanted to keep the content and settings I changed in the previous blog, I deleted the colorfulinspirations blog and instead attempted to change the address of my original blog: inspirationsforwendy.wordpress.com. But when I change the blog address, it says the colorfulinspirations blog already exists. I know I already deleted this. Could you tell me how I can change my original blog address to take that blog address: colorfulinspirations.wordpress.com?

Once you have deleted a blog, it is deleted forever, the names can no longer be used by anyone.
If you wanted to move your blog across to the new name after you’ve already created the name you should have exported and imported your blog. But because now you’ve deleted that name, you’ll have to use an alternative name for your blog.
