Changing my blog address back to previous name.

Hi, I recently changed my blog address to misfitnz.wordpress.com from fattygoesbyebye and have now decided I want to change it back to fattygoesbyebye, and add a second blog for misfitnz, however when I try to do so, it now says the name fattygoesbybye.wordpress.com is reserved. I suspect that is for me, as I never ticked delete permanently, but how do I reactivate that name? Thanks

fattygoesbyebye.wordpress.com shows up as deleted. Deleting a blog permanently removes it and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address. However, blogs already deleted by their authors two or more years ago may become available again, if they present no username or other technical conflicts.
You can try registering a new blog with that address. If this does not work add the tag modlook to the right sidebar of this topic to notify the Support Staff for further assistance. -
Thanks for that. It still comes up as reserved when I try to change it, and when I try to start a new one, it comes up with other suggestions similar, but not that particular one still. Have tagged modlook now.

The info you have been given is correct. Once changed/deleted, URLs are unavailable. We warn about this in both the instructions and the name change process.
