Changing my blog and keeping content

  Hi! I’ve had my blog since 2010. I haven’t done a lot with it for the last couple of years, but I would like to change that a little and turn it into a blog that I can monetize from. Just curious if I went with a host other than WordPress if I would lose all my content on the blog. I don’t want to lose content, but would like to make it a bit more professional looking. Can you tell me what my best options would be??

  Thanks for that info! I will check it out. Another question….. I am going to start another blog using WordPress and wondered if there’s a special way to do it since I already have one blog here. All the info I am getting about starting the blog are telling me to install wordpress. I assume that part is already taken care of since I have one already. Are there proper steps to take to add an additional blog? Do I obtain my domain name from you or from another source?
