Changing my blog name affect ability to subscribe or searches?

  I want to change my Blog title, but do not want it to affect those currently subscribing or that have links to the blog? Will it have any effect on other sites where I have registered?

  changing your blog title will not have an affect. changing your blog url, however, is a different thing altogether. so you can change your blog name as you please, just not the url. =)

  Well, it won’t google as high for the old name, because Name is something that Google and other search engines take into account. But you don’t start back from zero, no. The renamed site will go down slightly in searches for the old name, that’s all.

  As for Technorati, I’m not sure but I’d be very cautious. If your Technorati ranking matters to you at all, check their Help guide for advice. They tend to jam you back to a zero ranking.
