Changing my blog url name HELP!!!!

    Hi! My current url is lanissareale.wordpress.com- however my ministry really needs to change the name to becoming ministries.wordpress.com or something like that that is available (not to mention I got marries & my last name isn’t even reale anymore). How can I change the url name and MAKE SURE that all content gets carried over?! What does that look like step by step. I want it to be as seamless as possible. help!?!?!

    Hi there,

    To change your blog address please follow the instructions found here:

    https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

    Once you change it, it will be a permanent change and you cannot change it back. The old address will become unavailable for you or anyone else to use.

    If I do that, will all of my content simply be transferred over and the only thing that will change will be the blog address???

    And what happens if people type in the old url to search for the blog? Nothing will show up? Can I do something so that if for some reason they do type in the old url that they will be directed to the new one?
