Changing my blog's URL

  I want to change the URL of my current blog to something else. I want all the content to stay, I want all my followers to stay, it’s just a domain change I’m after.

  The address I’d like to move to is from an xxxx.wordpress.com URL to another xxxx.wordpress.com URL. Is this something that can be done with relative ease? The option to alter the URL is now missing from Settings > General where I believe it once was.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Thank you ingwerlatte1, do you know if this will this remove all of the internal links I currently have on the site? It’s mainly my blog posts I’m concerned about. I’ve got a few pages, but I dont mind manually re-linking these together.

  Followers will also remain?

  Hey there,

  I’m guessing that the links you’re describing are internal blog links, so they shouldn’t be affected. However, if you copied and pasted the link URL to include the whole URL including the ” xxxx.wordpress.com ” portion, you will need to update them manually.

  Depending on how many links you have you may consider a Site Redirect upgrade (https://en.support.wordpress.com/site-redirect/).
