Changing my domain

  I would like to change my domain from a .wordpress.com one to simply be .com, however I have no interest in hosting any data. I want wordpress to continue hosting, is this possible by buying a domain name via wordpress? Or once purchased do I have to host everything myself?

  looks like it does do that. It just takes 2 hours or so to update.

  Looks like you got if figured out fine – it take a while for all the routers to change all over the world – can be 24 to 72 hours while things can be a bit flaky.

  Good luck with your new name and congratulations on actually reading the support documents!
