changing my domain name

  I’m thinking of purchasing a domain for my site – however it is currently http://www.tinkerbelladventures.wordpress.com. However I’ve been using @tinkadventures for all other social media..
  If I change my site to be tinkadventures will the current urls on my site for all my posts stop working and all have to be changed manually?
