  I am trying to switch my old domain to a new one. is this possible? I have purchased my new domain.

  Hello there,

  Please share us the URLs of your old and new domain. And could you let us know where did you purchased your new domain and which site you wish to use the new domain?

  If you have a new domain registered elsewhere (i.e. not on WordPress.com), you can map it to your site on WordPress.com.

  https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-existing-domain/

  However, mapping a domain requires a paid plan if you don’t already have.
