changing my email

  I would like to change the email attached to my account. Currently it is set up under my mom’s email (email visible only to moderators and staff) because I used my own email to set up another account about a year ago that I never followed through with and I don’t remember any information regarding the account I used for about 2 days. I would like to change the email to (email visible only to moderators and staff) for my current account if at all possible. Thanks!

  Every WordPress.com user account has a unique email address, so you can’t have two accounts with the same email address.
  To transfer your email address from your unused account to your current account (thetravelingapplee), first thing firts you have to recover your old data by following the steps listed here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/.

  Once you’ve recovered it, you can reuse the email by following these steps: https://en.support.wordpress.com/deleting-accounts/#reusing-email-addresses.
