Changing my email address

  I made too many blogs and I don’t know how to delete the ones I’m not using anymore. I want my ExerciseChilliwack blog to have the contact email address: (email visible only to moderators and staff) instead of (email visible only to moderators and staff) but the problem is that every time I try to add it I get an error because this address is already being used on another account. What I want to do is delete all my wordpress blogs EXCEPT the (email visible only to moderators and staff). I then want my contact email address to be: (email visible only to moderators and staff). From there I will build up the information, pictures etc… that I want my clients to see online. Can you help me to do this for I am completely confused at this point? Thanks, Katrina 604-832-2207

  Hi there!

  Looks like there’s a lot going on. Let’s tackle them one by one shall we? I’ll refer to the first email address you mentioned as Email1 and to the second, Email2 since the forum hides email addresses for privacy reasons.

  1. You want your blog http://exercisechilliwack.wordpress.com/ to be associated to Email1 instead of Email2 but Email1 is already associated to another WordPress.com account. You’ll need to change Email1 on your second account to another email address so that you can use Email1 on your first account.

  Here’s a helpful article on how to do that:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/email-address/

  – Log in to your second account where Email1 is associated with.
  – Change it to another email address then log out of that account.
  – Log in to your first account where your blog http://exercisechilliwack.wordpress.com/ is listed under.
  – Change the email address associated to that account to Email1.

  2. You’d also like to delete some of your blogs. Here’s another helpful article on how to do that: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/

  Note that if you delete a blog, you will not be able to get it back and no one else will be able to use that blog address.
