Changing my email address associated with my wordpress account

  Hello, I’m trying to change the email address that is associated with my wordpress account as I don’t want comments or other notifications coming from my blog to flood my main inbox, I try to change this in the ‘contact info’ section of ‘your profile’ on wordpress. I’m told to check the new email address I entered ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) for a confirmation email but there isn’t one coming through, I have tried this several times.

  I’ve got one thing to add, just incase it makes a difference.

  I have a gravitar account with the same email address ((email visible only to moderators and staff)) that I’m trying to change my wordpress email over to. I want to do this for the reason I explained above but also because I already have a gravitar account that I set up a while ago.

  Hi there,

  Since you have a Gmail address, WordPress.com emails are known to end up in your social tab if you have that enabled. I would also check your spam folder to see if the email ended up there. Either way, if you search for your domain in the general inbox search field, you should be able to find the email we sent to you regardless of the folder or tab that it is in.
