  Hi, Is there any way that I can change the generated free website address to a more simpler one? such as http://www.johnjones.wordpress.com

  I’m afraid https://johnjones.wordpress.com/ was created many years ago. You can change your site address to something similar though:
  https://wordpress.com/support/changing-site-address/
