Changing my name from wordpress.com to a .com

As the subject line….. if I change my name, does that mean I remain on the website that I have already created? I will not be losing my blog, I will just continue with my blog, but have ‘.com’ without the ‘wordpress’.

That’s right — there are no changes to the content or appearance of your blog itself. :)
You can add a domain to your blog, using the Add Domain button, at:
https://wordpress.com/domains/
