Changing my non-custom domain name

  I do not want a custom domain I just want to use the .wordpress.com but I accidentally spelled the first part wrong. How do I change it?

  You cannot edit a URL so you will need to register another blog with the correct spelling. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/

  As deleted blog URLs are not recycled I suggest you make the one with the wrong spelling into a private blog and use it as a backup and testing blog. You change the visibility to private here > Settings > Reading
