Changing my theme

  I really hate the layout of my theme. I would like just an abstract view. Can I change it one time? Thanks

  Themes are just “skins” on WordPress.COM hosted blogs. You can quickly and easily change themes on any WordPress.COM hosted blog to another one found here http://wordpress.com/themes/ and no data will be lost or negatively affected by the change. The image dimensions of featured images may vary but the only time you may have to do some work is if you are changing to a dramatically different theme and have done any CSS editing.

  Provided you are logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes, Browse themes until you find one you like and click the “activate” or the “preview” link, or type in the name of the theme you want to use when it appears.

  The theme customizer https://en.support.wordpress.com/customizer/ provides a preview function for exactly that purpose ie. so you can view what a theme will appear like prior to changing one.

  I think I asked the wrong question. What I meant to say is template. I would like to change my template.

  Hello there,
  We bloggers do no have access to the template files underlying our themes on wordpress.COM hosted blogs and cannot edit them. This is a multiuser blogging platform. Al blogs wearing the same theme use the same underlying template found on the live demo site for each theme.

  Does Customize let me edit HTML?
  No. Customize allows you to edit fonts, colors, and CSS only. You can change the appearance of a theme, but not its HTML markup or PHP code. If you require this functionality, please consider moving your blog to a web host that supports theme code modifications.
