Changing my theme to English

    Hi! I live in the Netherlands and downloaded a beautiful theme to use. As I want to reach out to everybody around the world, I want people to be able to read the widgets and other things in English. They are at the time being in Dutch. How do I change this?

    I tried by changing the language in my profile but that did not effect the language used in the theme. I also tried other themes and as they showed in the preview mode as English, when I tried it with my blog it automatically went to Dutch.

    Hi there,

    There are two different versions of WordPress.

    These forums only provide support for the WordPress.com version; your site appears to use the self-hosted version from WordPress.org.

    If you need support for a self-hosted site, please try posting your question in the WordPress.org support forums.
