Changing my WordPress name AND registering as the new one

How can I change the name of my blog AND still keep it with WordPress (in other words, I don’t want to link it to GoDaddy or any other registrar — right terminology?).
For example, I am peapodfam.wordpress.com
BUT
I’d like peapodfamily.wordpress.comCan this be done?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can change it by following the link here

Be aware once you change your blog address you may not get it back i.e. once you change peapodfam to peapodfamily you may not be able to get peapodfam back.
