Changing my wordpress.com name

  I’m changing the name of my blog and need to have the URL match the name change. How do I do this?

  Word to the wise: with a blog that has an existing following, any change to the URL OTHER THAN buying a custom domain is essentially the same as throwing your blog down a well. You lose all the pagerank and incoming links your blog had.
