changing name given on signup using wordpress.com

  In error, we used the wrong name for our blog at signup. We do NOT wish to use a custom domain – the URL my company.wordpress.com is fine

  Is there any way to change the name of the blog?

  Help appreciated!

  The automatic message above is not correct.

  The blog is bluehouseenergy.wordpress.com which needs to be bfreehomes.wordpress.com

  Yes, you can change the URL but it’s better to simply register the new URL as a separate blog. Then set the one you don’t want to Private and use it as a test blog. Very handy.

  If we do this how do we migrate the content – the content we want is on the blog with the improper name
