Changing name of blog – problems

I changed the name of my blog but some of my subscribers have got in touch to say that they are getting a message to say I’ve deleted my blog. This is not the case, it is simply a change of name and some of my subscribers are able to get emails as normal notifying them of a new post as normal.
Why do are some subscribers having problems with this change of name and is there anything I should be doing that I’ve not already done. Please advise.

When you changed the blog’s name from maturestudenthanginginthere.wordpress.com you checked the box to also delete maturestudenthanginginthere.wordpress.com
In this case, anyone who was visiting maturestudenthanginginthere.wordpress.com will need to re-subscribe and update their bookmarks.
