changing name servers after domain has been cancelled.

  I am trying to go self hosted but bought a premium plan rather than going to a hosting site.
  Wordpress have cancelled my plan and user name but as I’m back on the free plan I cannot access my old domain info to change the name server and therefore have my domain for my self hosting site.
  does anyone know how I can fix this?

  Hi @mrsmummyharris86, when you cancel a domain you no longer own it, and can’t control its settings. It is returned to the registrar.

  Since your domain hadn’t been registered long, though, they will typically release it within a few business days so you can re-register it elsewhere.
