Hi
I vant to changing Name Servers to Point Away From WordPress.com. My hosting of my custom domain says:
This domain does not point to the xxx’s DNS servers. Changes you make here will therefore not be visible on the internet. You must make the changes to third parties that control DNS.
Here’s a list of the active DNS servers:
• ns3.wordpress.com.
• ns2.wordpress.com.
• ns1.wordpress.com.I follow the guide I found here: https://wordpress.com/support/change-name-servers/#changing-name-servers-to-point-away-from-wordpress-com
In my account can’t I find any domain to set up changes in.
How do I change my setup to work with a new website outside WordPress.com?WP.com: Yes
Correct account: YesThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to moderators and staff)

Hi @knutklevstad, are you hoping to point your domain to different name servers?
Those instructions work with domains that were registered here at WordPress.com, but if you bought your domain somewhere else, they’ll have a different interface, and you’ll want to refer to their guides instead.

Hi again.
http://www.webhuset.no are hosting my custom domain name.=20
I want to use Elementor Pro’s and their web site hosting to build my web =
site.=20When I tried to change then DNS setup in Webhuset for A record and = CNAMER there came this message.:=20
This domain does not point to the xxx=E2=80=99s DNS servers. Changes you = make here will therefore not be visible on the internet. You must make = the changes to third parties that control DNS.
Here’s a list of the active DNS servers:
=E2=80=A2 ns3.wordpress.com.
=E2=80=A2 ns2.wordpress.com.
=E2=80=A2 ns1.wordpress.com.Do I need to do something in WordPress.com?
Or will it work when I put in the new IP address in – A -, and the = CNAME in Webhuset?
Best regards

Hi, what settings does Webhuset recommend?
And do you remember where you purchased your domain?

Since you’ve registered that domain through a different provider and not us, then they are the only ones that can help you configure its DNS settings and point it to your site.
