Changing Nameserver

  Hello,

  I’m transferring from WP.com to.org, however, I have now changed the nameservers accordingly on the WP.com Domain Management. The thing is, what do I do next? I try to then install WP.org via my Web Host using Fantastico, but it does not work?

  I am completely new to this, so I would be very grateful if you could explain this in a simple manner!

  Hi Jay,

  DNS changes can take up to 72 hours to propagate, so it’s possible that your domain isn’t pointing to your new web host just yet.

  So, do I have to inform my Web Host or anything like that?

  And, will Fantastico then work once this change has occured?

  You’ll have to ask your webhost about that :)
