Changing nameservers

  Hi, I need help to change nameservers to hostgator, anyone that can help me with that? :)

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I just don’t think that I am able to do it myself. I got the domain from wordpress, and want to change over to hostgator. I had premium but I cancelled it, so now I can’t to much on my site anymore.

  Ok. You need to move your domain.

  Thanks. I already read that one, but I do not have the option to edit domain I think. When I go to domains, there is nothing I can do there.

  The issue is that you have canceled the domain and received a refund. once canceled, the domain is out of your control and cannot be transferred or pointed elsewhere with new nameservers.

  I can try and reverse the cancellation, if you like.

  If successful, you will need to re-purchase the yearly domain registration. Then you will be able to point your domain to a new webhost using these instructions:

  Change a Domain’s Name Servers

  Or, once 60 days have passed, transfer the registration to another registrar using these instructions:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  Otherwise, you will need to wait until the registrar releases the domain into the pool of available domains and hope that nobody registers it before you are able to.
