Changing Nameservers which are locked…

I’ve been told by Bluehost, which incidentally knowing what I now know I wouldn’t have used and would prefer a hosting company without an attitude………..
That I need to do this…
You are going to need to go to your domain’s registrar and change the name servers to the domain name servers that are listed below:

    ns1.bluehost.com
    ns2.bluehost.com

Which seems quite straight forward, but when I try, I get this…..

You cannot change the selected domain because it is not in an active status.

How or where do I go from here?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

To point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), please follow the instructions here:
    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/#changing-domain-name-servers

Note you will need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

Hope this helps – let us know if you have any more questions!
