Changing Navigation Label text on menu

  Hi, on my primary menu, I have one page with a long title. I just want the first word to show in the primary navigation/menu bar at the top of the home page, but when I go to the themes tab and select menus, the ‘Navigation Label’ text is greyed out and I cannot change it.
  What to do?! Thanks

  Workaround:
  Go to the wp-admin dashboard
  https://klanndestan.wordpress.com/wp-admin

  Under Appearance – Menu
  And edit it there.
  Be sure to save it.

  Someone else will have to weigh in on why it is greyed out.
