Changing Network Settings email address

  I have recently become a Super Admin of a multi-site installation, and I am trying to change the administrative email from that of my predecessor. I have tried several times to change the email address, and each time I get a message that a confirmation email will be sent to the new address. But that email never arrives. Yes, I’ve checked my Spam folder.
