Changing of Time Zone

  I am unable to find the general setting to change the time zone that my blog is in. Could anyone give me directions on how I can do this? Thank you and God Bless.

  Go to My Sites > WP Admin > Settings > General. Look at the Timezone section. To the right the current date and time (eg. UTC time is 2015-08-18 10:37:23) is displayed. If that doesn’t match up with your local date/time, select the appropriate option from the dropdown. The easiest way is to choose a city that’s in the same timezone as you. Click “Save Changes” at the bottom of the page. Look back at the timezone section and it will now include your local date/time.

  I’m not seeing a Timezone area anywhere on my settings page. Any other ideas?

  @desertrose0601, you need to be logged in as the site administrator, otherwise the timezone setting won’t show up.

  Oh my gosh that seems so obvious now. Thank you thank you! I was driving myself crazy with this one. Couldn’t figure out why they wouldn’t let me change my time zone. Lol. This totally helped. Hopefully this helps the OP as well. Thank you!
