Changing or creating new username

I have two wordpress blogs. I want to change my username to match my second blog instead of my first, but when I try to change the username, I am told that address already exists and it doesn’t give me another option.
username: theonomist
blog1: theonomist.wordpress.com
blog2: kazooless.wordpress.comdesired username: kazooless
I would prefer to be logging in with kazooless instead of theonomist or to have both accounts.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account. That username account has to add the other username account(s) ie. as Admin to the blog you want to be transferred to them and then use the process to transfer the blog to their username account.
Log out of WordPress.com and clear your browser cache and cookies an then register the second username account under a different email address.
