Changing order of past posts

I wrote several posts on one day, to catch up. They are not in proper order. Can I switch them around? Or do I have to re do them?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We always need a link to the blog, starting with http, in order to answer questions accurately.

You can copy and paste the html from the one you accidentally made as a page. Then eliminate (delete) the page. Your readers via search engines will get a “404 error not found” because the page is no longer linked to the now non-existent page. If you have subscribers, then they will be notified of a new post.

If you change the dates/times by editing the permalink on the posts, there will also be some “not-found” incidents from search engines.

But your blog looks fairly new, and perhaps it hasn’t been indexed yet, and perhaps you would still consider the changes worthwhile to make.

On a mature blog with lots of established long-time search engine links, I’d advise against it. In your case, though, it’s up to you. (I would certainly change the page to a post though)

    How exactly to edit permalink?

I went to top oF a Post page in edit mode, but when I try to change date on what I think is the permalink (complete web address, right?), it will not let me.

In the “Publish” module, click on edit where it says this:
    Published on: Feb 6, 2012 @ 15:53 Edit
    Change the date. Update.

Just in case this has been overlooked during your blog set up, I also suggest that you confirm that the tmezone setting on this page > Settings > General has been updated by you selecting the closest city to you on the page and then clicking “Save Changes”.

Great. It worked. Thanks. Tess, your advice clear and bang on.
