changing order of portfolio items in sketch theme

    Hi I hope that you can help
    I would like to change the order of the portfolio items in my sketch theme based site. At the moment they are in order of publication but I’d like to change that.
    I’ve also noted that on one of the drop down menu’s this wording has appeared and I don’t know how to get rid of it (the date shows up)

    Hi @sarahartsvm!

    By default, Portfolio projects, as posts, are ordered by publishing date. To get projects to show up in a specific order you just need to edit them and adjust the publishing date so that the project you want to appear first is the most recent and the project you want to appear last is the least recent.     I couldn’t find any specific drop down menu’s on your site, could you be more specific about the issue you are facing, please?

    Hi stefbarz

    Thanks for your reply and avice. I will try what you suggested. I will definitely have a look at your links. I’ve been finding it difficult to make the website.

    I meant the drop down menu at the top called Menu which when you click on it has an opion called let’s talk which when clicked comes up with a date (not a current date either). Do you know any way to get ri of the date?

    Any general advice would be gratefully appreciated.

    Hey there Sarah, I´m not sure if that´s what you mean but when you open your page “Let´s talk”, just below the title appears the date when the page was created. The word “edit” can only be seen by you, as you are the administrator :)

    thanks for your help. As you can see this is all new to me. Do you know if there is anyway to get rid of the date?

    Sorry, but I have more questions, how can I change the photo that shows up if I copy a link to the site say into LinkedIn? The logo doesn’t show up just a pretty bad picture of me!

    Is it possible to change the pictures at the bottom of the portfolio so that they are more prominent for example at the top or the middle of the page rather than the bottom? Is it possible to make it more obvious that the featured images of each portfolio section (Topshop etc etc) show like a a number of images that they are linked to or similar?

    Yes, you will have to go to customise your theme and find content option. There you should be able to choose not to show dates.
