changing order of posts in sidebar

I would like to change the order of the posts in my sidebar on my Home page. I would like to take the post at the bottom, called 1978, and place it at the top of the sidebar. I would also like to take two posts at the bottom — 1980 World Championships and 1981 World Figure Skating Championships — and move them up in the sidebar to place them in their correct years. Is there a way to manipulate the order of the posts in the sidebar after they have been published? If no, is there another way to do this, so I can have a chronological list of posts or pages. Thanks.

Hello there!
There isn’t an automated way to reorder blog posts. The default setting is for them to appear chronologically.
However, I have another solution for you.
Instead of using Recent Posts as a widget, you can manually add Posts as links into a Text widget in the order you wish.
Click on Appearance → Widgets. Then you’ll add a Text widget into your sidebar. Here are some directions about how to add html code hyperlinks to your site:
