Changing our free domain name?

  I was wondering if there was any way to change our free “.wordpress.com” domain name? I see that if we register it and pay we can change it, and drop the “wordpress” – but we’re okay with having “wordpress” in our address, but is there any way we can change our domain/address short of starting a new blog?

  Not at the moment. There is a name change tool, but it is temporarily disabled. You can either wait for that tool to be reviewed or you can start a completely new blog now if you don’t want to wait.
