changing ownership
-
Good day. I’m still an L-plate blogger but I’m far enough into it to want to drive my own site. My son helped me set my blog up as a subsidiary to his and now I want to separate off, without losing my existing domain name or posts. Can anyone point me to the procedure? Regards, respects, hack4hire (chris b)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Where, exactly, are your blog posts? That blog has a static front page and no way to get to the blog posts. Is that the blog you’re talking about?

Sorry for the delay – just found my way back here. The way to the posts is via the category links. I’m not sure how I made the front page static but you are right. That is to be worked on.

DON’T DELETE ANYTHING OR THE BLOG
OK –
By “subsidiary to his and now” you mean he set your blog up with his account – he can just transfer the ownership to you – he goes to
Dashboard >> My Blogs >> Mouse over your blog name and click on Transfer” and follow the instructions to transfer it to your account

Hello there,
Every blog has a sole owner and it is the person with the username account who registered the blog under that username account. No matter how many blogs are created under any username account there will be only one gravatar and one primary blog that can be linked to that username. If your son registered the blog under his username account he needs to add your username account as an Admin and transfer the blog to it.
