changing ownership

  I set up a new blog (wizzlepot.wordpress.com) but managed to link it to my work blog id (faith3action). I have created a new id (rwjordan2014) and added myself as administrator and now want to remove faith3action in order to keep personal and work accounts quite separate. I cannot however delete faith3action and have seen a forum post that says I should contact you.
  Could you please delete faith3action as administrator for wizzlepot.wordpress.com.

  Currently faith3action is the owner of the blog, which is why you can’t remove it form the blog. You need to transfer ownership of the blog to rwjordan2014.

  Log in under faith3action’s account and transfer blog ownership following the instructions here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account

  This process should automatically remove faith3action as a user, but if it doesn’t you will now be able to remove that user as rwjordan2014 will be the new owner of the blog.

  Many thanks – eventually got there! I thought that I had been through all that before – but clearly not.
  By the way – when I originally posted I thought I was getting through to support – not posting on a forum – so I included things I would rather not have – is there anyway of getting the information removed from public view?

  You’re welcome.

  If you’re talking of the email address – the software automatically strips it out and other users cannot see it, so you don’t have to worry about that.

  Thanks – the software seems to have removed one but not the other …
  It replace one with ‘[email redacted]’ but (so far as I can see) not the second …(at)gmx.com

  You typed the second as a website link, not an email, so spambots and the like won’t be able to use it to contact you.
