Changing / Owning Domain

  Hello, I want to buy my own domain. I also want to change the name of my site, TEENAGE NEWS, to something else. If I buy a domain w/ a wordpress.com premium account (for 99$), do I also get an email to use (email visible only to moderators and staff) ? I want a custom email.

  Or,

  Should I go through godaddy and get a domain through them? They are much cheaper and include more services. With their domain, can I link it up to my current TEENAGE NEWS wordpress? What happens to all the old links, does wordpress or go daddy reconnect/direct them?
