Changing Permalink format on hosted blog

  I am attempting to change the format of my permalink. As I often write in advance I want to move away from yyyy/mm/dd format to maybe use categories instead.

  So I can’t work out how to do this? I’ve read guides but if it is hosted by WordPress it might be different.

  Also what happens to previous links, or do we just changes going forward? Any help from the super helpful WordPress crew appreciated. Thank you

  Hi there, it isn’t possible to change the permalink structure on WordPress.com. That would only be an option on self-hosted WordPress sites. You can learn more here about the difference between WordPress.com and WordPress.org.
