Changing photo size on homepage

  Hi. I’m brand new to wordpress, and hoping for a little help with resizing the photos on my home page (port Theme). I know that they are supposed to be 1,000 width, but the images that I have are scrunched, so I’m hoping to make them at least LONGER. (Don’t have to be wider, but wider would be great too). Please help.

  Hi, can you tell me which of the images you are talking about? Are you talking about the images in the Portfolio section?

  Yes, the images in the portfolio section.

  We can’t really do that on the Portfolio section on the main page since the Portfolio software actually creates the images you see there at 317px wide by 239px high. If we enlarge them, the images will become fuzzy since we will be asking the browser to enlarge the images and they aren’t very good at that, and we wouldn’t be able to recover the height since the software has cropped them for use on the main page Portfolio section
