Changing photos order.

  Hi. I keep having problems with this blog. One would think it will be so easy :/ I’d like to create new photo gallery and I have to upload images from 2 different folders in my computer but After that I’d like to re-order them to desired sequence. I Cannot see how can I do it :/ Looks like you will end up with the uploaded order and cannot reorganise your photos. Or am I missing it? I tried to drag them around but this doesn’t work. Any suggestions please?

  The last Gallery I did a few weeks back I was able to drag and drop – however make sure you are in the “Edit Gallery” mode not the Edit Post – you need to pick the Gallery when in the edit Post mode then you should be able to drag and drop

  Thank you auxclass. Valid point though still didn’t work but now I know it doesn’t if I use internet explorer. It’s fine in Firefox.

  Which version of IE and operating system are you using when it does not work?

  As @auxclass mentioned, let us know what version of Internet Explorer and Windows you are using. We would love to test things out on our end to see if we can replicate and rectify the issue.

  Hey Monika,

  We were able to test dragging images within the edit gallery using Internet Explorer on Windows 10, and we had no issues.

  What exactly happens when you try to drag and organize the images? Do you receive any type of error? Also, what type of device are you using? A mouse, trackpad, or even a mixed touch/mouse device?

  It’s possible that drag/drop doesn’t work as expected on devices that support touch interactions – at least in IE.

  Let me know if you are still having issues or if you have any other information that might help us figure out the source of the problem.
